Business Development Executive TELUS Digital Position overview As a Business Development Executive you drive sales, achieve revenue targets, and contribute to the growth and success of the company. You identify and pursue new business opportunities, understand potential client needs, and promote the relevant offerings (products and services), aligned to the overall company strategy.

Key responsibilities

* Prospect and identify potential clients aligned to company strategy through market research, networking and lead generation
* Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads
* Create and execute account strategies/ plans for each of the targeted clients based on the overall company strategy
* Oversee the end to end request for proposal process
* Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
* Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms with client to reach mutually beneficial agreements
* Close sales deals which have been won and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately
* Transition client to a designated Client Success Executive Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system
* Ensure timely hygiene and corrective actions relating to: sales funnel, account/deal plans and other sales KPIs Core competencies
* Giving support, focusing on customers, embracing technology, managing self-development (globally aligned; apply to all jobs) Leadership competencies N/A no people management accountabilities
* Functional competencies Understanding of the digital BPO landscape and industry best practices
* Knowledge of BPO services and digital technologies, including AI and Trust and Safety sales expertise as required
* Effective negotiation and conflict management abilities
* Ability to use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions Ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view
* Results-oriented mindset with focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
* General financial acumen
* Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools

Qualifications

* 5+ years of proven track of success in sales, preferably in the digital industry
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
* Proficient oral and written English
