As a Full Stack Developer at TELUS International Digital Solutions, you will spearhead the creation of cutting-edge technical solutions leveraging Typescript and AWS. This full-time, remote role offers the opportunity to dive into software architecture, design patterns, and microservice technology while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement technical solutions utilizing TypeScript and AWS, adhering to established software architecture and design patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and performance.
Utilize Docker for containerization and conduct unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of code.
Implement monitoring solutions using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray to ensure system health and performance optimization.
Deploy applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring seamless operation of software systems.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Cloud Development Kit or AWS CloudFormation for efficient and automated deployment processes.
Utilize NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and system integration patterns (PubSub) for efficient data management and communication.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve software development practices continually.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
Experience working with TypeScript, React.Js, JavaScript, and Node.Js.
Experience with AWS services like Lambda, CloudWatch, and X-Ray.
Experience with microservice architecture and RESTful development.
Familiarity with Docker, unit testing, and CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases and system integration patterns (DynamoDB).
Familiarity with front-end meta-frameworks like Vite, Next.js, or Angular.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Experience working in an offshore/on-site model is a plus.
