About the role:


We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who specialize in full stack QA (Functional and Non-Functional testing) to join our team, and develop products that empower their users. Every day, you will work with team members across different levels of the Home solution programs. You’ll interact daily with our product managers to understand our domain and create technical solutions that push us forward. You will participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, retrospectives, and planning meetings.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review functional specifications, technical design documents, test plans and test cases,

  • and provide timely and meaningful feedback.

  • Work closely with development team to identify test cases that can be automated for new

  • feature releases.

  • Design, develop and maintain regression and smoke test suite using Selenium or

  • Playwright.

  • Communicate automation test results and highlight any potential quality risks

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution.

  • Partner with team leads and provide recommendations on how to decrease efforts in

  • manual testing and be an advocate for automation.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases that will be automated by other members of the development team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automation suites for web applications

  • 2+ years of experience with Manual testing QA methodologies, tools, and processes

  • Experience creating automated tests with Java & JavaScript

  • Experience with Automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.

  • Experience with mobile apps Automation tools.

  • Experience with Jira with Zephyr and Confluence.

  • Experience with GitHub and cloud integration is a plus

  • Experience with mobile app testing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent team player and support Manual testing.

  • Strong attention to detail while being able to multitask
