About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and driving operational excellence. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-based environments, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across applications and services.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline delivery pipelines, automate workflows, and enhance monitoring and observability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, CI/CD practices, and modern automation tools. Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure with Terraform and manage deployments on GCP/GKE.
Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement monitoring, observability, and incident response with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Cloud Monitoring.
Apply cloud security best practices for IAM, networking, and secrets management.
Support serverless workloads (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub) and manage Cloud SQL databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer workflows and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability through SRE practices and automation.
Required Skills:
Good English communication skills – B1 or above.
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration; or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms: Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS or Azure.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (CloudFormation is a plus).
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git).
Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash).
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS).
Experience with security best practices (IAM, Cloud Armor, Secrets Manager).
Familiarity with serverless architectures (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub).
Database management experience (Cloud SQL or equivalent).
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Stackdriver or equivalent).
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
Experience with security best practices in cloud environments.
Background in supporting data-driven applications (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, or similar).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).
