Key Responsibilities:

·         Monitor network infrastructure using network monitoring tools and systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.

·         Respond to network incidents, alerts, and service requests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve or escalate as necessary to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

·         Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patch management, and configuration changes to optimize network performance and reliability.

·         Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve network issues and implement necessary changes or upgrades.

·         Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

·         Implement and enforce network security measures, policies, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.

·         Collaborate with Network Engineers and other IT teams to implement network infrastructure projects and initiatives.

·         Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for network emergencies and planned maintenance activities.

·         Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, NOC team members, and stakeholders on network-related issues and inquiries.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

·         Proven experience (5+ years) as a Network Administrator, NOC Technician, or similar role in a large-scale network environment.

·         Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Cisco Prime).

·         Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve network issues effectively.

·         Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.

·         Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

·         Availability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation as required.
