Description and Requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and developing design concepts, direction, and assets with the target to offer excellent quality creative solutions to predominantly internal clients, and some external facing executive projects. This includes creating creative and original material, development of graphic material and concepts according to the requests from the immediate supervisor or leaders of the company.

  • Leading meetings with internal clients, focusing on offering creative solutions to the problems exposed by the clients, as well as the goals of the company. It is required that the team member is organized and has well developed interpersonal skills in order to achieve successful communication.

  • Streamline processes across functions and departments to ensure efficiency in the department. Follow up skills are key.

  • Perform other tasks and services as requested by the immediate supervisor.

  • In charge of handling branding, as well as creating branding imagery, and aligning closely with the TELUS Digital Brand office to ensure all projects are brand compliant.

Qualifications:

  • English – C1:

    • Oral and written comprehension

    • Appropriate use of language

  • 4 years of University studies in Graphic Design or Communications - Mandatory

  • 4 years of working experience in Graphic Design and Advertising. Experience with Google Workspace

  • Expert on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe After Effects, Google Workspace (Slides), Medium experience in Adobe Premier. Writing skills are a must.

  • Experience working in International Companies - It's a plus

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in similar positions - Mandatory

Additional Job Description

The main role is to develop creative work to support TELUS Digital’s Corporate Communications projects and strategies, including executive presentations and materials. Projects may include graphic artworks and content for communication campaigns, conceptual planning and a high quality output on all initiatives, sometimes working within tight deadlines. Includes digital and print media.

Must have availability in order to support urgent requirements if needed.
