About the Role


We are seeking a skilled back-end developer with expertise in Java, EJB, Oracle, and GUI development using JSP struts. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing robust and scalable back-end solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic, and database interactions, and ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of our applications.



Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.

  • Implement server-side logic using EJB and integrate with Oracle databases.

  • Develop user interfaces using the JSP and Struts.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Implement security and data protection measures.

  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in back-end development.


Technical Skills (Required)

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.

  • Proficiency with SpringBoot, SpringData, JPA, Struts, JSP, EJB, SOAP, REST, and Log4J.

  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for microservices deployment.

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud services: Secrets, Secret Manager, VM’s, Workloads, port forwarding, containers, Kubernetes, and PODs.

  • Strong expertise in Oracle databases and PLSQL.

  • Experience deploying and managing applications on GKE.

  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
