Description and Requirements

Accountable for successful project delivery, customer loyalty/retention and maintaining a high professionalism rating with Clients by: 

  • Taking ownership for Customer Relationship for their projects ensuring that you understand and deliver on the desired business outcomes 

  • Being in charge of Financial, Implementation, Change Request, Issue/Risk, Schedule and Communication management for each project

  • Preparing the Project Management Plan for the assigned projects. Responsible for overall project requirements.

  • Assessing and addressing technical risks. Ensure all issues are being managed and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Reviewing proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with the concerned team to approve and implement beneficial changes.

  • Implementing and ensuring adoption of projects. governance framework implementation projects. scoping, planning and deployments of projects.

  • You will be supported, coached and mentored by the TELUS Client Program Management Office leadership, project management and support teams.

Additional Job Description

  • A Technical degree in engineering and/or computer science

  • Minimum 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 5+ managing complex networking/infrastructure related projects 

  • PMP training or Certification

  • Exposure to IT enterprise environment is a must have

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results on time  

  • Strong time management, problem solving, negotiation and organization skills

  • Compelling Communication Skills: Clear, concise and influential in all aspects of communication to various audiences with emphasis on client communication and expectation management

  • Ability to create effective presentations for communicating analysis and recommendations

  • Strategic Mindset: Able to develop a strategic vision and correlating priorities to lead the team through delivery by applying current state knowledge to achieve future state objectives
