REQUIREMENTS

  • Native level of Swedish and proficiency in English.

  • Good understanding or working experience with Swedish Language’s regional spoken varieties.

  • Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the Swedish language (e.g., grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)

  • Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts

  • Experience with evaluation, rating, or data collection tasks


SKILLS

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with confidence

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and learn new tools


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience using NLP tools and concepts or interest in growing towards NLP tasks, such as creating grammar rules and formulating language templates

  • Experience in annotation work

  • Some knowledge of programming/coding (e.g., Python, R, regular expressions, HTML, C+, etc.)

  • Experience or skills in testing, data processing, and database management

  • Formal linguistic education is a plus
