We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Market Research Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting high-quality, specific research in areas such as Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, and Strategic Research. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support the decision-making processes of our stakeholders, including Sales Leaders, Senior Management, Account Managers, and Corporate Strategy teams. Proficiency in reading and analyzing annual reports and financial documents is essential, as is experience with various databases and research tools.
Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive Market Research and Competitive Intelligence to support strategic decision-making
Perform GTM (Go-to-Market) research, SWOT analysis, PESTLE research, and industry research
Profile companies and conduct Account Intelligence to provide insights for Sales Leaders and GTM teams
Read and analyze annual reports, 10K, 10Q, and other financial documents to extract relevant information
Data Management:
Utilize databases such as Factiva, Capital IQ, XIQ, CB Insights, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, AlphaSense, PitchBook, and Mergermarket for data collection and analysis
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by maintaining and updating research databases
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for stakeholders including CEO office, Corporate Strategy, and Executive Management.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to support business development and strategic initiatives
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in research methodologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance research quality and efficiency
Knowledge and Qualifications:
Research Expertise:
Proven experience in conducting specific types of research such as Market Research, GTM Research, Strategic Research, Industry Research, SWOT Analysis, and Competitive Intelligence
Ability to read and analyze complex financial documents including annual reports, 10K, and 10Q
Database Proficiency:
Extensive experience with databases and research tools such as Factiva, Capital IQ, XIQ, CB Insights, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, AlphaSense, PitchBook, and Mergermarket
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and generate actionable insights
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a research analyst role, with a focus on high-quality, specific research types
Demonstrated ability to support Sales Leaders, Senior Management, and Corporate Strategy teams through detailed research and analysis
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable research
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
High proficiency in using various research databases and tools
Excellent time management and organizational skills
