About the Role

We are looking for a SDET / QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Selenium, Java, test script development, and automation/manual testing. This role involves working closely with development teams to improve software quality, ensure test coverage, and optimize testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.

• Design, write, and execute test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing for web and API-based applications.

• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

• Validate database interactions using SQL queries to ensure data integrity.

• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning and stand-up meetings.

• Continuously enhance and optimize test automation strategies and frameworks.

• Provide technical guidance on best testing practices to development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as SDET

• Experience in setting up and maintenance of test automation frameworks

• Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages & Automation Tools for API and GUI

• applications.

• Experienced in developing and debugging automation scripts in Karate framework, BDD

• Cucumber, Java, and Selenium.

• Experience in GitHub/GitHub Actions with CI/CD

• Basic experience on GCP or any other cloud computing service

• Basic knowledge of Performance testing (any of the performance testing tool-JMeter,

• Gatling)

• Should have working knowledge and understanding of Java and Node.js.

Great to have:

• Basic knowledge of DynaTrace, Blazemeter, and Cloud Jira

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Must be aware of common information security principles and practices.

• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
