Position overview:


As a Business Intelligence Specialist in WFM you will be at the forefront of changing the way that WFM view data as you transform data into actionable insights to inform business decisions.  You analyze complex data sets to identify business trends, perform data mining, conduct analysis to improve and optimize business processes and strategies, and develop business intelligence reports/ dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.


Key responsibilities:
 

  • Understand business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement or optimization through the use of data analytics

  • Collect, analyze and interpret large datasets to develop actionable business insights and recommendations 

  • Manage business intelligence platforms and tools with an ability to automate data extraction when required 

  • Builds reports and tools inside the database/data warehouse environments 

  • Conduct troubleshooting on highly complex business intelligence models

  • Create and deploy cross- functional solutions leading collaborative efforts with other teams

  • Evaluate and improve existing business intelligence models to create best-in-class solutions

  • Provides guidance and mentorship to others within the  team

  • Expertise in data modeling, database technologies, and usage of business intelligence technologies and tools

  • Expert knowledge of data warehousing, data mining, and statistical analysis

  • Expert ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends and patterns and derive actionable insights 

  • Expert ability to explain complex concepts to non technical stakeholders

  • Ability to solve complex problems using sophisticated thought, exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related field; MBA is desirable

  • Proficient oral and written English
