Position:  Software Quality Assurance Team Leader (Job Req#488759)

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Various Unanticipated Worksites within the U.S.)


Responsibilities:

  • Gather and discuss the business requirements with the business team and translate into technical requirements for the orchestration system.  Design and keep the microservice updated to support business operations.  The microservices which are developed and maintained by OBO-OIS (Ordering Back Office – Ordering Integration Services) are used for Customer Verification, External Credit Check, and Order Submission.  Design the solution by writing the requirements in the system design document for client Ordering Integration Services.  Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure they understand the requirements clearly and deliver the quality deliverable on time.  Setup data to observe the behavior of new changes.  Setting up data may require creating biller accounts in the CSG system, activating the devices, submitting the change orders, and completing the order in the biller.  Run the queries in SQL Developer tool and Splunk to analyze the data and validate if the system is behaving as per the business requirements.  Conduct grooming sessions with the team to provide knowledge of implementation of new requirements or applications getting implemented.  Explain the changes which will be implemented in the system.  Implement innovative solutions for improving productivity and quality.  The solutions could be like developing Cloud-based Alerting and Monitoring systems for microservices, developing desktop-based tools to validate and compare JSON responses from the microservice, etc.  Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.  Position supervises 5 employees.


Educ./experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Project Lead, Test Lead or in a related position. Experience must include CSG Billing System, Applications to support provisioning OSM and UIM, TestNG, Agile and waterfall methodologies on Mainframe, SQL and Splunk queries, Microservices and Cloud Computing.  Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.  Position supervises 5 employees.
