Position: Applications Development Technical Team Leader
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Various unanticipated worksites)

Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of full life cycle application development.
  • Assist with the requirements analysis to determine feasibility of proposed solutions and solution requirements.
  • Employ effective communication techniques to provide project status reports to team members, direct supervisors and responsible managers, and to develop accurate documentation that complies with company standards.
  • Design and develop technical solutions for enterprise-level projects.
  • Conduct code walk through to ensure that the highest coding standards are maintained.  
  • Perform end-to-end testing of the services/software.
  • Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems.
  • Consult with managers to design and implement software systems to automate existing support systems.
  • Employ appropriate application development methodologies within a multi-tier, and distributed, application architecture.
  • Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.

Educ./experience:
  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Development Technical Team Leader or in a related position.
  • Experience must include: developing microservices using Spring boot; integration of microservices using Gemfire; implementation of Java services and JUnit test cases using a test-driven development approach; CI/CD pipeline; and SQL.
  • Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.
