About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with at least 5 years of experience as a developer and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with NetCracker and JavaScript.


You will be in the core of the team managing TELUS Portals. Your focus would be on

the developing new features, maintenance of existing portal applications, delivering the best user experience and high quality. 

Responsibilities


  • Support your team of developers. 

  • Implementation of new requirements as well as production support for existing portals. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

  • Responsible for the detail design, documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of applications. 

  • Support requirements gathering, solution designing, planning phases. 

  • Be an active team member, support other developers/QA/BA. 

Leadership and Team Management: 


  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team. 

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. 

  • Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. 


Project Management: 


  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. 

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. 

  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. 


Qualifications


  • Experience working and leading remote teams 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Developer. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with NetCracker solutions. Desirable 

  • Proven experience working in Telcos

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with JavaScript 

  • Experience working with ReactJS and NodeJS 

  • Redux and RxJS 

  • Web services knowledge Rest and Soap 

  • Experience working with Relational Databases & SQL (preferable Oracle) Experience using Docker or Kubernetes. 

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban)

  • Proven experience in leading and managing development teams. 

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
