Description and Requirements
As an Associate Linguist, you will provide linguistic expertise for developing NLP tools for the target language. You will be involved in annotation, creating grammar rules, formulating language templates, finding patterns, and evaluating existing data. Full training on tools and processes will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS
Native fluency in Vietnamese and higher education degree or studies in progress
Higher education (MA or MsC)
Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the target language (e.g. grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)
Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts
Working knowledge of complex tools, e.g. CMS, SQL
Advanced Excel/Sheets
Some knowledge of programming/coding (e.g. HTML, R, regular expressions)
Good understanding and interest in the current technology landscape: IT computing, AI, machine learning, voice assistants, internet of things
Experience in testing, data processing, database management,
Formal linguistic education is a plus
Skills Grasping technical concepts and learning new tools
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently with confidence and little oversight
Excellent oral and written communication skills
