Job Summary:

The Retail Support Specialist (English)  plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service within the grocery department. This role focuses on assisting customers, ensuring product availability and presentation, and supporting the overall shopping experience. You will be a knowledgeable, approachable, and proactive presence on the shop floor, helping to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Engagement:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for customers in the grocery section, offering product guidance, answering questions, and assisting with special requests over the phone.

    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, professionally, and with a problem-solving attitude.

    • Educate customers on promotions, new arrivals, and product benefits to enhance their shopping experience.

  • Product Knowledge & Recommendations:

    • Stay informed about grocery products, including dietary options, local sourcing, and customer favorites.

    • Recommend alternative items or complementary products based on customer needs.

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Intermediate-Advanced English level

  • Previous experience in retail, groceries, or a customer-facing role preferred.

  • Passionate about helping others with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Physically able to lift stock and stand for extended periods
