Position overview:
TELUS Digital has an opening for a Strategic Analyst, whose primary remit will be detailed financial analysis and scenario building for the Company’s Strategic Accounts.
We are looking for an energetic, highly proficient individual to join us. This role can be in-office, work from home or hybrid in nature.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a fast paced environment and can partner with diverse stakeholders across the business to help answer key financial and strategic business questions. You must be analytical, creative, highly organized in nature, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
Working closely with Global teams such as Finance, Sales and Solutions and Operations to help form strategies globally across all strategic accounts.
Contribute to proposals and contract negotiations from a financial perspective.
Build financial models to calculate EBITDA under various scenarios for each commercial proposal ensuring the completeness, integrity and accuracy of the same.
Prepare concise financial summaries showing key business metrics.
Ensure that proposals are accurately informed by coordinating and constructively challenging cost inputs from various functions across the business.
Influence and constructively challenge the solution to ensure it meets the desired commercial outcome
Develop scenarios that evaluate potential outcomes and inform risks and opportunities in our proposals to clients.
Assist in developing a standardized approach to the creation of proposals across commercial planning, build and approval stages.
Develop and maintain a detailed database and understanding of our cost base across our delivery locations globally to inform our scenario analysis.
Ensure buy in from the P&L owner at approval stage.
Prepare proposals for presentation at meetings with clients.
From time to time support adhoc projects which may include the development of financial business cases.

Core competencies:

Functional competencies:
Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Commercial analyst experience
Pricing or deal structuring experience in a similar industry
Finance experience in a similar industry
Knowledge of Google Workspace Sheet and Microsoft Excel - Advance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution - Required
Minimum 1 years’ experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, transaction services, financial consultancy or equivalent
B2+ oral and written English
