About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for end to end delivery and tracking of the different variables that affect the development and deployment of a project. The project manager will be responsible for coordinating activities, providing timelines and managing RAID to ensure on time delivery of the defined scope and requirements. 


Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will ensure their team(s) complete all deliverables on time and within budget in accordance to the plan. They prevent scope creep while also managing individual tasks for their respective teams with keen attention to detail to avoid any unpleasant surprises. The project manager will facilitate a cross functional group of resources and ensure the following;

 
  • Tracking overall delivery (scope, timelines RAID) while providing status reports on a weekly basis, and joining meetings as required to represent COE 

  • Define RACI as it relates to TDE in collaboration with TELUS

  • Ensure all requirements are drafted with acceptance criteria

  • Hiring / onboarding of required TDE resources and associated Setup (software, hardware, licenses)

  • Technology integration development and updates to existing, in place systems

  • Provide support in ensuring that training is developed and delivered. 

  • Assisting in the creation, storage and signoff of all final deliverables / artifacts. 

  • Lead, Book and facilitate required meetings and track their associated minutes and actions.

  • Facilitate resolution on decisions required from COE leadership and Product Owner

  • Escalation Management when required

  • Knowledge of TELUS internal processes and systems - Desirable

  • Other tools & applications knowledge - Proficient

    • Google Suite of applications 

    • Visio, Excel ,Powerpoint

 

Studies & Experience:

  • University Degree in Business, or related fields - Desirable

  • PMP is considered an asset but not required. 

  • History in Project Delivery - Required

  • Minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager
