Description and Requirements

As a Senior MDM Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Master Data Management (MDM) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica MDM and proficiency in configuring MDM tools and integrating them with cloud environments. You will utilize your expertise in data engineering to build and maintain data pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure data quality.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing MDM projects.

  • Extensive experience with Informatica MDM (Multi-Domain Edition) version 10.

  • Proficiency in MDM configuration, including Provisioning Tool, Business Entity Services, Customer 360, data modeling, match rules, cleanse rules, and metadata analysis.

  • Expertise in configuring data models, match and merge rules, database schemas, and trust and validation settings.

  • Experience in building data engineering pipelines using Google Cloud products (e.g., storage buckets, BigQuery, Composer, Dataflow).

  • Demonstrated ability to refine MDM customer and reference data models in response to evolving business needs.

  • Comprehensive understanding of MDM concepts and industry best practices.

  • Proven experience in master and reference data processing, integration, and management, with a focus on data quality.

  • Proficiency in integrating MDM with external tools such as Informatica, Data Director, message queues, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Strong skills in ETL validation and complex SQL query writing.

  • Experience in designing staging, landing, and target tables for ETL processing.

  • Hands-on experience in configuring IDQ rule sets, including data cleansing, parsing, standardization, validation, and DQ exception monitoring/handling.

  • Capability to perform design and code reviews, and experience in preparing technical design documents and test plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to fine-tune and optimize MDM Hub performance.

  • In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and the DW lifecycle.

  • Implementation experience using MDM, IDQ, PL/SQL, or similar tools.

  • Experience with CI/CD implementation and GitHub is desirable.
