About the Role 


As an L2 Java Developer, you will contribute to the development and support of our Med Access EMR platform. You will work across the full technology stack to design, build, enhance, and maintain reliable healthcare applications while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security.



Responsibilities


  • Join forces with a team of Developers, Quality Assurance and Business Analysts to collaboratively deliver a reliable product through sound design, careful development and rigorous testing.

  • Write and review well designed, testable, Java code. 

  • Work within the full stack of technologies (UI, application tier, database) used by the product 

  • Investigate and resolve design issues and code errors.

  • Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance our software development processes 



Requirements


  • 3+ years of professional experience working with Java and Java-based web applications.

  • Strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for front-end development.

  • Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).

  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:

    • Spring Framework

    • JSP

    • Web Services (SOAP & REST)

    • Struts

    • Hibernate

    • XML/XSLT

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate a large, complex codebase.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and adapt to change.

  • Strong team collaboration skills.




Good to Have:


  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Campaign/workflow.

  • Prior experience working in Scrum teams.

  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows and culture.
