About the role:

TELUS is looking for a qualified professional to fill a full-stack application support role in our Digital Solutions Development team. The application support ensures the operational processes in the project run smoothly with maintenance of the legacy applications, software, and other organizations' technological systems, testing, deployment, and documentation.



Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 1 year as a TELUS International employee

  • Meeting or exceeding all metrics in your current role for the last 3 months.

  • Minimum of 95% attendance

  • No active disciplinary processes

  • Schedule flexibility

Knowledge:


  • English - B2:

• Oral and written comprehension

• Appropriate use of language

  • Knowledge of ReactJS and NodeJS

  • Knowledge of Java

  • Knowledge of NC (desirable)

  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux command line

  • Knowledge of  Apache Tomcat Web Server (desirable, not mandatory)

  • Knowledge of  Windows Server (desirable, not mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Support Tools (Putty, FTP clients)

  • Knowledge of SQL (Problem resolution, query building, troubleshooting)

  • Knowledge of Git (desirable, not mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Tech support and tools (ITSM tool, CRQ creation, customer support experience or equivalent)


Preferred knowledge or experience includes:

  • GCP services

  • Monitoring tools (DynaTrace)

  • CI/CD processes

  • NC

  • C#, ASP.NET

  • REST API

  • AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cline, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) (Desirable) and MFE



Studies & Experience:

  • A third-year level or graduate of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related career - Desirable.

  • Customer support experience
