Description and Requirements

We are hiring a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer for end-to-end testing of complex, enterprise APIs, GUI, and data. This critical role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing, a deep understanding of SDLC/Agile, and strong analytical/communication skills.Define testing strategies, improve processes, and champion quality engineering best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have 5-7 years of experience.

  • Automation: Design and maintain automated scripts using Selenium, JavaScript, TestNG, BDD, and Nightwatch.js.

  • Execute manual/automated tests for APIs (Postman, Jest, Supertest) and front-ends.

  • Conduct data validation and non-functional testing (Performance: JMeter, Lighthouse; Accessibility: WCAG).

  • Translate requirements into test plans, participate in Agile ceremonies, and make decisions on test prioritization/strategy.

  • Mentor junior testers, drive continuous quality improvement, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze complex systems, debug defects, and use monitoring tools (Dynatrace, OpenShift).

  • Log defects and report on quality metrics, dashboards, and defect trends.

  • Strong understanding of SQL for data validation.

  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines: Github and Jenkins.

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Automation: Selenium, JavaScript, TestNG, BDD, and Nightwatch.js.

  • Programming: JavaScript (required)

  • Testing: Manual, API (Postman, Supertest), Performance (JMeter), Accessibility (WCAG)

  • Tools: CI/CD (GitHub), Database/SQL, Agile/Scrum.

  • Nice to Have:

  • Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Dynatrace, Jenkins, Zephyr, JIRA.

  • Shift timing: 2 PM to 11 PM

Additional Job Description

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
