Position Overview

As an End User Computing Specialist, you focus on providing technical assistance and support to end users in an organization.  You ensure that computer systems, software applications, and related peripherals are functioning properly and meeting the needs of end users.  You may be responsible for: technical support, hardware and software installation, user account management, system updates & maintenance, IT asset management, security & compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical on-site support to end-users for the resolution of issues with hardware or software

  • Create Wi-Fi credentials for clients and other visitors, and provide any required support to enable access

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications

  • Troubleshoot reported issues and escalate to the specialized team when required (Network, Telephony, Server, etc.)

  • Provide support and troubleshooting expertise for new client launches

  • Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades, coordinating with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements

  • Maintain technical documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in end-user computing or equivalent roles (desirable)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Relevant certifications are desirable

  • B1+ oral and written English
