As an Expert Rater, you’ll play a vital role in training AI systems to better understand the world. Your work helps fine-tune how language models respond to real-world queries, from search engine results to ad relevance and semantic comprehension. Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will assess relationships between user queries and advertiser keywords, determine semantic containment, and ensure ratings align with defined guidelines. Your work will directly contribute to improving large language models (LLMs) and machine learning systems. 

• Analyze query–keyword pairs to determine if the user query is semantically contained in the advertiser keyword using specific guidelines

• Label data accurately within the client’s rating platform, contributing to the development of AI systems for natural language understanding and ad relevance.

• Perform related tasks such as search engine results page (SERP) analysis, user intent assessment, and side search relevance checks.

• Apply critical thinking and semantic reasoning to detect meaning shifts, intent differences, and subtle variations in language use.

• Follow strict quality and productivity targets while working independently

• Stay aligned with evolving language trends and maintain objectivity by avoiding personal bias in assessments.

Required Knowledge:

• Fluency in German min. B2 language level

• Fluency in English min. B2 language level

• Prior experience in data labeling, query analysis, search evaluation, or similar annotation work.

• Professional experience in one of the following:

• Culture & Arts – exploring culture, history, and human expression

• Society & Community – analyzing societies, behaviors, and social systems

• Lagal – interpreting regulations, rights, and legal frameworks

• Business – understanding organizations, strategy, and operations

• Finance – managing resources, investment, and economic decision-making

• Exposure to US cultural context

• Analytical thinking with attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and written comprehension.

• Comfortable working independently under a fixed schedule.

• Strong ability to understand written content, detect intent, and follow complex logic frameworks.

Key Skills & Competencies:
