We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Learning Services Specialist to lead training initiatives for our AI labeling program focused on short-form video content moderation and machine learning workflows. This role supports our frontline team members, who handle highly dynamic projects for the Brazilian market with guidelines and materials primarily in English.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Portuguese and English, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can confidently manage and deliver training across multiple projects while supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, adapt, and deliver engaging training programs aligned with evolving client requirements for different AI and labeling projects.
Facilitate onboarding and ongoing learning for 2–3 simultaneous waves of new hires, ensuring consistency and understanding of project goals, tools, and performance expectations.
Translate complex guidelines and processes into clear, learner-friendly content for trilingual audiences.
Work closely with the Operations and QA teams to identify training needs and implement continuous improvements.
Monitor trainee progress and performance during nesting and transition phases, offering coaching and feedback.
Maintain up-to-date training documentation, project updates, and administrative records.
Coordinate training logistics, schedules, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure cultural relevance and language nuance in the Portuguese market while aligning with global standards.
Support learning innovation by incorporating best practices in adult learning, AI awareness, and content labeling quality.
Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple training cohorts simultaneously.
Organized, self-driven, and capable of handling administrative and coordination tasks independently.
High attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in assessing team member performance and training needs
Exceptional Emotional Intelligence: Ability to navigate and resolve disagreements effectively, fostering collaborative solutions among global cross-functional teams.
Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to explain evaluations and propose innovative solutions
Detail-Oriented Mindset: Keen attention to detail to identify nuances and ensure that all trainees have the knowledge necessary to perform effectively
Resourcefulness: Ability to address challenges and issues within training workflows using creative and adaptive problem-solving approaches, even in the absence of established benchmarks
Familiarity with Annotation Guidelines: Understanding of annotation guidelines and best practices, ensuring consistent and accurate labeling of data
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an evolving environment, readily adapting to changing processes and contributing valuable insights for process enhancement
Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the Brazilian digital landscape, social media trends, and informal language/cultural nuances. - Required
Google Workspace - Intermediate
Understanding of data labeling, annotation, and evaluation methodologies - Required
Studies & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any field - Desirable
Experience in quality control - Desirable
Previous experience teaching or working in education programs - is a plus.
Previous training experience - Desirable
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year as a TELUS Digital employee
Minimum of 9 months in your current position in the current account or department
