We are seeking a skilled UIM Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be integral to the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation of system and application programs. Leveraging your expertise in Oracle UIM and Java Microservices, you will contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable solutions. You will work collaboratively within an Agile environment, preparing technical design specifications, reviewing documentation, and participating in architecture and code reviews to ensure consistency and quality. This position requires a strong technical acumen and a commitment to best practices in software development.

Responsibilities
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Adherence: Strictly follow the company's established software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Design and Development: Design, code, and configure robust system and application programs, with a primary focus on Oracle UIM and Java Microservices.
  • Technical Specification: Assist in preparing detailed technical design specifications based on comprehensive functional requirements and analysis documents.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Develop and maintain thorough operational and system-level documentation to ensure clarity and support ongoing maintenance.
  • Quality Assurance: Design, implement, and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging, to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Code Review and Collaboration: Participate actively in architecture, design, and code reviews, providing constructive feedback and collaborating with other development staff to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing valuable feedback to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solution design.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for applications, identifying and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Technical Stack Expertise:
    • Demonstrated experience with Oracle UIM development, configuration, and implementation.
    • Proficiency in Java development, with practical experience building and consuming Microservices.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Solid understanding and practical experience with various phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, business analysts, and project managers in a team-oriented environment.
  • Technical Documentation: Experience in preparing and maintaining technical design specifications and operational documentation.
  • Code Quality: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and participate in reviews.
