Description and Requirements
The team at Telus Digital is seeking a Quality Specialist to work within the online video platform market, providing cultural and language expertise to improve the quality of online video content.
The role will involve working closely with Quality Controllers to assess video content as well as the performance of a large multi-lingual community and to individually review contributors’ work based on a set of standards and guidance. The successful candidate will work with a large community and this role requires candidates with excellent attention to detail and a high level of communications skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Responsibilities:
A high degree of confidence, experience and knowledge of using internet-based technologies and online research in day-to-day tasks.
Measure adherence of resources to strict sets of guidelines and determine any potential quality issues.
Careful input of data for trend analysis and follow-up.
Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues of individual resources on an on-going basis.
Continuously self-review and remain up-to-date on all guidelines and instructions available.
Develop reports and trends to be shared for action.
Support the team of Quality Controllers.
This role may evolve and change based on business requirements.
Key Skills & Requirements
Fluency in both English and Portuguese. Verbal, written, and listening skills, along with the ability to provide expertise at all levels of the business and with customers, should be demonstrated. B2 level or higher in both languages - Required
Proficiency in Office or GSuite - Required
At least one year of experience in quality, data analytics, and/or training - required.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen awareness of current events and political landscape from Brazil and the US.
3rd Level Qualification or equivalent work experience is essential
Strong research skills, with the ability to read and understand complex guidelines, and to apply those guidelines to user behavior
Excellent time management and organization skills, as well as flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
