Position Overview:
Reporting to a Team Lead within the Performance and Planning team, part of the Global Operations, as a Senior Data Analyst you will help support one of the largest accounts within TELUS Digital’s call center business. Within this role you will be responsible for capturing, consolidating and analyzing financials. You will participate in financial processes such as triage, invoicing and accruals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. As you become intimately familiar with these processes, you will streamline and automate to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, examining cost and revenue drivers in call center operations to maximize profitability and minimize financial risk
Consolidate financials from regional offices worldwide
Participate in and implement projects to improve, simplify, and automate financial processes
Assist with financial forecasting, monthly and annual budgeting
Collaborate and interlock with Global Finance teams to validate forecast and budget assumptions across lines of business
Support customer and stakeholders requests related to financials
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience as a business analyst with knowledge of accounting and finance best practices, experience in work force management also an asset
Ability to engage confidently with peers in planning and finance team
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong stakeholder management to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Highly organized, motivated, and a driven self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team
Strong financial, analytical, and data proficiency with a problem-solving mindset to address business challenges
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, data analysis tools, and BI tools
Preferred:
Experience in finance and financial processes
Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CMA, Workday Certifications
