Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Trainer to join our testing COE team and support our training programs in SDET, DevOps, Agile etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering training on Selenium, Java, Playwright, Rest Assured, Cypress, Karate, Playwright, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, API Testing and Mobile Testing. This role requires a trainer with strong hands-on experience to create customized training modules, deliver engaging sessions and continuously improve training content to align with industry advancements and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs on Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium and associated technologies.

  • Design and conduct training on API testing, including API automation tools like Karate, Rest Assured etc. along with Functional testing in API Testing

  • Conduct workshops, webinars and  live sessions to enhance team knowledge and skillset in Automation Testing, DevOps, API and Agile.

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to create new training modules, videos and  hands-on labs.

  • Continuously assess and update training content to stay aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation and quality engineering

  • Deliver effective training to employees at all levels, from beginners to advanced professionals.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Support teams in practical troubleshooting and solving real-world testing, DevOps etc.

  • Work with stakeholders to customize training solutions for different business needs and use cases.

  • Mentor junior trainers and help maintain a collaborative learning environment.

Additional Job Description

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering corporate training in the areas of Automation Testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Karate), Java, DevOps, API, Agile and related domains.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, Karate.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Understanding of DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git and  cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. JIRA).

  • Proven ability to create and design customized training programs and content for technical subjects.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.

  • Strong R&D capabilities to develop innovative training materials, lab exercises and use case scenarios.

  • Ability to assess learner progress and adapt training content for different skill levels.

  • Experience working in an enterprise environment with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing learner challenges.

Desired Skills (Good to have) :

  • Certifications in Automation Testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright), DevOps technologies.

  • Knowledge of additional tools such as JMeter, TestNG or similar testing frameworks.

  • Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).
