Expansion Development Representative (XDR)

Position Overview:
The XDR is responsible for managing inbound leads from existing clients, engaging them on the phone to understand their needs, and qualifying them for further conversations with an Account Manager. This role ensures that interested customers are efficiently routed to the right resources, supporting overall revenue growth from existing customers.
The XDR acts as an early touchpoint for expansion conversations. You will work in close partnership with Account Managers and CSMs, serving as a key connector between customer interest and strategic sales engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and qualify inbound leads from existing customers by engaging them in timely, value-driven conversations.
Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, use cases, and potential for expansion.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager or Customer Success Manager (CSM) for further engagement.
Serve as a strategic first point of contact for expansion opportunities, contributing to revenue growth from the existing customer base.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, outcomes, and next steps using tools like HubSpot, Aircall, and Looker.
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and CSMs to ensure seamless handoff and alignment on customer strategy.
Handle objections and address concerns professionally, keeping conversations focused on solutions and value.
Stay up to date on product features, pricing structures, and use cases to effectively position offerings during customer interactions.
Manage a high volume of leads across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent and responsive engagement.
Continuously improve performance through feedback, coaching, and alignment with team goals.
Functional competencies:
English - B2 - Required
Oral and written comprehension
Appropriate use of language
Advanced understanding of Google Apps for Work tools (ie: Google Drive, Google Calendar, Gmail)
Lead Qualification & Communication: Effectively identifies customer needs through discovery calls and communicates value with clarity and confidence.
Sales Tools & Pipeline Management: Proficient in using CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Aircall, Looker) to manage a high volume of leads and ensure accurate tracking.
Objection Handling & Customer Focus: Navigates objections with a solution-oriented mindset while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience.
Collaboration & Adaptability: Works cross-functionally with Account Managers and CSMs, responds well to feedback, and adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related career - Desirable
1 year in a customer-facing position in a SaaS environment - Mandatory
