Position overview
As an Employment & Payments Specialist, you support multiple processes within the employment lifecycle, ensuring a positive employee experience as well as legal labor compliance.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and manage employment and termination (voluntary and involuntary) process, ensuring compliance with company policy and labor laws
Receive, review and process input information for payments (masters, overtime, bonus, leaves, deductions, benefits, etc)
Review, analyze and approve employee HCM transactions (changes in shifts, hires, terminations, lateral moves & promotions, time off requests)
Manage changes to employment documentation or to deductions presented by external and government entities
Perform time tracking and time off/leave integration from Workday to the payroll system
Address employee inquires relative to payments and deductions
Receive payroll disputes and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them
Support employee onboarding relative to employment and payments practices as well as refresher sessions for Operations
Prepare payroll related reporting requested by Operations for decision-making
Support internal and external audits by collecting and providing the requested evidences

Ability to adapt to change
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in similar positions
4+ years as a university student, preferably in careers like Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Law
B1+ oral and written English
