We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dutch Language Specialist to join our team in Dublin. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on language annotation, localization, and data evaluation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Annotation

• Rating

• Localization/Internationalization

• Finding patterns

• Evaluating existing data

• Guidelines/style guides creation

REQUIREMENTS

• Native level of Dutch and proficiency in English. Good understanding or working experience with Dutch Language’s regional spoken varieties.

• Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the Dutch language (e.g., grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)

• Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts

• Experience with evaluation, rating, or data collection tasks

SKILLS

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with confidence

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to grasp technical concepts and learn new tools

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience using NLP tools and concepts or interest in growing towards NLP tasks, such as creating grammar rules and formulating language templates

• Experience in annotation work

• Some knowledge of programming/coding (e.g., Python, R, regular expressions, HTML, C+, etc.)

• Experience or skills in testing, data processing, and database management

• Formal linguistic education is a plus
