Temporary Applications Developer - Guatemala & El Salvador

About the role

Design, develop, implement and maintain technological solutions (applications, enterprise integrations, modules or tools) needed by TI to support any enterprise integration with 3rd party tools or any other platform development as required. Responsible for writing and coding individual programming solutions from specific requirements, responsible for writing technical program documentation.

Main Responsibilities: 

Validate requirements prepared by the Business Analyst to clarify doubts or inconsistencies and efficiently develop a technical design. Identify the list of activities or tasks to be performed to develop or modify integrations, propose development timelines, interpret written business, technical and database requirements documents. Perform coding to build technical specifications, logging in a accuency way the invested time, and implement enterprise integration patterns. Investigate, analyze, document, and solve reported issues. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses. Provide support to existing applications/integrations.

Knowledge:

  • English -  B2 - Required

    • Oral and written comprehension

    • Appropriate use of language

  • Solid knowledge in JAVA 17+ language using Spring (desired).

  • Knowledge and experience working with enterprise integrations (desired).

  • Knowledge on data integration language to get, transform and transfer data between systems: Python, Java - Apache Camel Framework, etc. (desired)

  • Knowledge in React, NodeJs or JS technologies, or python languages is a plus.

  • Knowledge and experience with service-oriented architectures.

  • Knowledge in Relational DataBase design. 

  • Solid knowledge of SQL or NoSQL

  • Knowledge of hot databases (Redis, memcache, etc) is a plus

  • Analytic and Technical understanding of systems analysis, design and application architecture.

  • Knowledge and experience about agile methodologies for software development (preferable SCRUM).

  • Knowledge of cloud computing solutions (desired) like GCP, is a great plus, AWS or Azure.


Studies & Experience:

  • Degree in computer systems or related careers - Desirable

  • At least 3 years in analysis, design and application development.

  • At least 2 years developing services.

  • At least 1 year in analysis, design  and development of enterprise integrations is a plus.

  • Scrum fundamentals (certification)

  • SPOC certification - a plus

  • This will be a 1 year contract
