Description and Requirements

  • Have professional engineering experience  — we’re thinking at least 8 years building digital products, and at least 2 years leading a team
  • Have managed a team of software engineers building digital products, and been responsible for growing the people on the team through goal-setting, coaching and feedback
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and Next.js
  • Comprehensive understanding of back-end code, databases (SQL and NoSQL), security, and APIs.
  • Experience implementing web security standards in development.
  • Are comfortable having difficult conversations and always have your clients’ and teammates’ best interests in mind
  • Experience with cloud platforms, micro services and serverless architecture
  • Proficient in the discovery process along with stakeholders and formulating detailed plans to solve critical issues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to pick up new languages, frameworks, platforms, test methodologies, and patterns rapidly.
  • Exceptional ability to present complex technical and product-related information to various partners effectively.
  • Have familiarity with CI/CD, Agile techniques for managing work, pairing, mobbing, and shift-left testing
  • Proficient in communicating and writing in English

Additional Job Description

  • Extensive experience building automated test suites and using granular debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, etc., and experience setting up deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Vercel
  • GCP, Apigee and infrastructure proficiency is a plus
