RATE: $39.00 - $58.00 per hour (determined by skills & experience)
Project Summary
This user study focuses on generating indoor data and collecting video recordings of each participant. The Anthropometric Measurements Moderator will be performing body measurements and will be in close proximity with participants in minimal clothing while establishing appropriate and comforting bedside manner. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to collecting consistent and high quality data.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- CNA, RNA, LPN, LVN, RN & APRN
- (current license is required & must be maintained for the duration of the project)
- Performing body measurements that require close proximity with participants including collecting measurements of different body parts using high-precision technology.
- Establish appropriate and comforting bedside manner and build participant rapport to create a comfortable environment for participants of all ages
- Must have fine motor skills and dexterity, ability to collect precision data manually with a steady hand or with precision tools
- Must have a high level of flexibility to easily move around a participant, bend down or kneel as needed to ensure consistent and accurate measurements are collected
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, needing minimal instruction or oversight to execute tasks or troubleshoot successfully
- Critical thinking and ability to approach a situation or task with a new, efficient, and innovative perspective
- Must be able to take accountability and have transparency for data collected.
- Support team in executing a task to ensure the larger project moves forward with reliable results and in an efficient manner
- Able to use and debug hardware and software with one-time training or minimal follow-up sessions
- Must have experience/familiarity working with the metric system
Must have experience conducting anthropometric (non-invasive quantitative body) measurements including:
- Height
- Weight
- Head circumference
- BMI
- Body circumference
- Skinfold thickness
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Conduct user studies that require close proximity with participants including collecting measurements of different body parts as well as using high-precision technology
- Gather and analyze spreadsheet data using Google Sheets, Numbers, and Excel
- Organize and track large amounts of spreadsheet data including triaging and addressing
- Hardware and Software troubleshooting issues
