About the role
The Accounting Analyst supports the Accounting area, is responsible for executing administrative processes, and will be responsible for recording and analyzing accounting transactions, customer invoicing, and recording payments to customers, among other assignments. The objective of the Invoicing Analyst is to provide support in generating financial analysis, communicating with the involved areas to obtain the invoice elaboration information, and sending it to the clients. record them in the system and provide the analysis generated by the invoicing process.
You will be a key part of a team of high-performing accounting and finance professionals who work with all departments of the company to provide financial support to senior management and department heads to facilitate decision-making. The Accounting Analyst will assist in performing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting and financial processes, as well as account analysis and preparation of integrations in accordance with external audit, SOX, and tax controls.
.Responsibilities:
Generate monthly reports of invoicing processes.
Have communication with areas involved in the invoicing process, to obtain the support pertaining to the invoicing process and its corresponding approval.
Maintains close coordination with the treasury, procurement, and other departments in relation to the timely and accurate release of payments to vendors.
Review the information received for the issuance of invoices, including reasonableness in the units, rates, amounts invoiced, etc.
Follow up in order to have the invoices issued monthly in a timely manner. Validates accruals and revenue recognition processes during EOM
Follow up on the accounting provisions related to invoicing and accounts receivable.
Identify any ongoing issues that affect financial reporting.
Handle requests for ad-hoc reports or financial information and interact with internal and external auditors' personnel to verify information. Communicate with external contacts and internal personnel to resolve open issues.
Serve as a consultant and trainer to other members of the staff on invoicing and analysis tools
Preparation, analysis, and integration of assigned accounts for Financial Statements preparation.
Ensures that important accounting documents are secured, completely and properly filed, and easily accessible for future reference (e.g. requirements of external auditors), among others.
Provide support as needed to department and business managers and perform special projects as assigned.
Registration and analysis of invoices and various accounting transactions related to current expenses.
Support the Annual Financial Statement Audit: Work with the accounting teams to manage the annual financial statement audit. Provide key support during Annual Financial Statement Audit. Prepare journal entries as required.

Microsoft Office - Intermediate
Intermediate level and perform able Excel skills with an interest and aptitude to work with large amounts of data (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX(MATCH), SUMIF, PivotTables)
Knowledge ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) - Intermediate
Accounting skills - Advanced
Knowledge of the NIC and NIIF - Intermediate
English B1
Studies & Experience:
4th or 5th year student in Accounting, Economic Sciences, Business Administration, or a related area - Required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions - Required.
