Job Description


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend and API development skills to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications that power user-facing features and backend systems. We work in fast-paced, collaborative, two-week sprint cycles.


Responsibilities


  • Design and develop API endpoints to support frontend applications, ensuring they follow industry standards and best practices.

  • Continuously evolve and optimize our graph database models (Neo4j).

  • Improve the API platform by enhancing documentation, performance, testing, and development processes.

  • Write clean, scalable, and reusable code with accessibility, performance, and security in mind.

  • Develop application features aligned with sprint goals in a two-week agile development cycle.

  • Ensure a consistent and responsive user experience across multiple devices.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentorship to peers.

  • Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve quality and performance.

  • Proactively identify problem areas and contribute effective solutions.

  • Stay current with new technologies and tools, actively integrating them when beneficial.


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in software development.

  • Proven expertise in frontend development: responsive layouts, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, NPM, Git, Docker, REST APIs, testing, and analytics.

  • Strong backend/API development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, Express (or similar), REST/GraphQL, Swagger/OpenAPI, and experience with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases (preferably Neo4j).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools.

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and understand product requirements.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with Next.js and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

  • In-depth knowledge of GraphQL (e.g., Apollo).

  • Experience with Neo4j or similar graph databases.

  • Hands-on experience with Helm and DevOps in GCP environments.
