About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business System Analyst to join our innovative Digital Transformation team. This role is pivotal in defining and driving the product strategy for our B2B telecommunications services portfolio, with a special focus on our inter-carrier automation initiatives using MEF LSO Sonata platforms.
The ideal candidate will act as a crucial link between business stakeholders, external partners, and our development teams. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our LSO Sonata platform, responsible for its entire lifecycle—from defining new features and onboarding partners to ensuring its operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Definition and Strategy
Assess and define new and existing initiatives for the Digital Transformation Portfolio
Create User Stories, Epics, and MVPs
Develop and implement the Product Roadmap Definition template for tracking and overview
Promote new initiatives to accelerate project/product definition and delivery
Technical Expertise and Support
Act as SME for MEF LSO Sonata and Telecommunications projects (Access E-Line EPL and IEVC)
Assist other business units in understanding product needs and definitions
Take ownership of MEF LSO Sonata platforms
Create monthly reports, investigate bugs, and analyze potential improvements
Partner Management
Onboard new partners to the MEF LSO Sonata platforms
Assist in technical calls to resolve integration doubts and issues
Agile Process Participation
Participate in Scrum meetings with other Business Analysts
Engage in Grooming sessions to refine and prioritize backlog items
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with development teams to deliver Epics and User Stories
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Required Experience:
3-5+ years of proven experience in a Technical Business System Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Owner role.
Essential: Direct experience working within the Telecommunications industry.
Demonstrable experience defining and launching technical products or platforms.
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, with a strong understanding of its principles and practices.
Experience in a partner-facing or client-facing role involving technical integrations.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with MEF LSO Sonata APIs and frameworks. This is a mandatory requirement.
Strong knowledge of telecommunications services and concepts, specifically Carrier Ethernet products like Access E-Line (EPL, EVPL) and inter-carrier operations.
Expertise in creating and managing product artifacts, including detailed User Stories with acceptance criteria, Epics, Product Roadmaps, and MVPs.
Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of API technologies (REST, JSON) and the software development lifecycle.

Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations, etc.).
Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
MEF-CECP or other relevant MEF certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with business process modeling and workflow analysis.
