About the Role 


As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to ensure applications are deployed securely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native workloads on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on Cloud Run.

  • Manage container images and artifacts using Artifact Registry.

  • Design and maintain secure network architectures using VPCs, Load Balancers, and Cloud Armor (WAF).

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated builds, testing, and deployments.

  • Implement GitOps practices to manage infrastructure and application deployments.

  • Containerize applications using Docker and support container orchestration concepts.

  • Define and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager).

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.

  • Ensure strong security practices, including IAM roles, service accounts, network security, and access controls.

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues in production environments.

  • Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including:

    • Cloud Run

    • Artifact Registry

    • VPC networking

    • Load Balancers

    • Cloud Armor

  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

  • Strong understanding of GitOps workflows.

  • Solid experience with Docker and container-based application delivery.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and alerting.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, service accounts, and network security.

  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE).

  • Exposure to SRE practices and reliability engineering.

  • Experience supporting high-availability and production-grade systems.

  • GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
