Description and Requirements
Define, drive, and execute the test strategy for large-scale, high-impact projects.
Design and develop scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure in-sprint test automation and CI/CD integration.
Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers in best practices, frameworks, and coding standards.
Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness across the stack.
Work closely with DevOps to build reliable and scalable test environments.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions from a quality perspective.
Own test metrics, report bugs with detailed analysis, and track quality KPIs.
Requirements:
5–8 years of experience in QA automation, preferably in product-based organizations.
Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript with hands-on experience in automation framework development.
Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of test strategy, test planning, and quality processes.
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), and test reporting.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure is an added advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience in in-sprint automation for functional and non-functional testing.
Hands-on with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Kibana.
Knowledge of microservices architecture, backend APIs, and integration testing.
Prior experience in leading QA initiatives, setting up automation practices, or building a QA center of excellence.
