Sanctions Analyst
Location: Onsite (Cork HQ, Mahon)
Type: Permanent Position
Salary: €33,000 gross p/a + monthly performance bonus up to €150
Shifts: 11.30-20.00 Mon-Fri subject to change (weekend coverage, shifts may be introduced in the future).
About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to review high-volume sanctions alerts and help us stay compliant. You'll quickly assess transaction monitoring alerts, clear false positives, and escalate potential matches, making critical decisions that keep our platform safe and compliant.

Overview of tasks:
- Triage high-volume sanction/transaction monitoring alerts to clear false positives and escalate potential true matches for senior review
- Review and close alerts efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
- Use SOPs and decision trees consistently; escalate edge cases or potential true matches as appropriate
- Keep concise, auditable notes for all decisions in line with job aid and QC expectations
We are looking for:
- Be a motivated self-starter comfortable in a high-risk, production environment with minimal supervision
- Be accountable for accuracy while maintaining quality control standards
- Have product sense for ACH, international wires/SWIFT
- Have experience or academic knowledge of OFAC, EU/UN sanctions, PEP, Adverse Media, and other AML watchlists
- Experience with LexisNexis Bridger and Firco Continuity preferred
- Be comfortable handling high volume while maintaining strong quality control
