FLEXIBILITY: Schedule and availability to visit client sites

COMPENSATION: $101,600.00 - $127,000.00 USD per annum
Position Summary
The Program Manager is the strategic lead for all operations related to Off-the-Shelf dataset creation. This role ensures the seamless execution of projects across different use cases like GenAI, Audio, and Computer Vision, aligning cross-functional teams, driving workflow efficiencies, ensuring quality compliance, and optimizing resource allocation. The OTS Program Manager will also serve as the central point of coordination between internal delivery teams and key partner functions like Sourcing, Product, and the Solutions team.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Own the roadmap for OTS dataset development, ensuring alignment across different teams
Customer engagement and Market development: Regularly meet with GenAI customers and prospects in the SF/Bay Area to gather insights, address concerns, and identify opportunities. Represent the OTS Datasets program at industry events, conferences, and meetups. Build a strong network within the local GenAI and LLMOps communities
Team Leadership: Work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, SMEs, Quality Managers, and QA experts. Provide strategic direction, performance oversight, and feedback
Product Feedback: Collaborate closely with the product team to define dataset requirements, identify product requirements for hosting and managing datasets, and provide key insights on dataset demand
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Sourcing Managers for talent acquisition, Solution Engineers for technical feasibility, and Product teams to align with platform capabilities
Quality Assurance Oversight: Ensure robust QA/QC processes are in place in collaboration with Quality Managers and SMEs
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in workflows, data pipelines, and QA processes to maximize efficiency and scalability
Risk Management: Proactively identify delivery bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and ensure continuity across datasets
Reporting & Insights: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all datasets, report progress, and suggest corrective actions where needed
Compliance: Ensure dataset creation meets internal data handling policies and aligns with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM, Business, or Data-related field
5+ years of experience in program or project management roles with at least 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally within AI, data operations, or software/IT services
Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, labeling workflows, and quality assurance processes
Experience managing diverse cross-functional teams across geographies
Familiarity with computer vision, audio processing, LLMs, or related AI domains is a plus
Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
