Description and Requirements

  • Must have 4-9 years of experience.

  • Experience with designing the ETL process using Tableau Prep, SSIS, and other ETL tools as per the business requirements.

  • Exposure to data engineering using GCP Data Services.

  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL process.

  • Maintaining the ETL system, which involves monitoring , performance optimization, updating ETL scripts and workflows as business requirements change, and ensuring the system scales with data growth.

  • SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, indexes, etc.) and an understanding of database structure. 

  • Leading the design of the logical data model, implementing the physical database structure, and constructing and implementing operational data stores and data marts.

  • Passionate about complex data structures and problem-solving.

  • Strong communication, listening, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Proven customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently within a team environment, work under pressure, and prioritize requests and workloads.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Additional Job Description

  • Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.

  • Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way that meets the needs of end-users.

  • Monitor, Maintain and improve existing processes.

  • Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable.

  • Work with the business to design and deliver correct, high-quality data.

  • Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users, and propose adequate solutions.

  • Prepare documentation for future reference.

  • Open to working in the 5 PM to 2 AM IST shift.
