About the Role

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team and help lead the adoption and successful implementation of Agile software development methodologies within our organization. The ideal candidate will be Scrum certified, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and a passion for fostering high-performing teams. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with development teams to ensure smooth project delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, facilitating the Scrum process and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

  • Guide the team through Agile practices such as sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

  • Work closely with product owners to ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and actionable.

  • Act as a servant leader, removing obstacles and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

  • Coach team members in Agile principles, ensuring a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.

  • Ensure the team is focused, motivated, and continuously improving by promoting Agile best practices and facilitating continuous feedback loops.

  • Support teams in maintaining a sustainable pace of work and balancing competing priorities.

  • Help manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolutions to ensure project success.

  • Work with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectations, aligning business needs with development efforts.

  • Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., sprint velocity, burn-down charts) to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and identifying areas for improvement within the team.

  • Ensure that Agile tools and techniques are used effectively to manage project timelines, deliverables, and team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master.

  • Scrum Certification (Certified Scrum Master - CSM or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

  • Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and remove impediments to ensure a smooth development process.

  • Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.

  • Experience working with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.

  • English Level: B1 high or above - Mandatory.

Desirable Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., LeSS, Nexus).

  • Knowledge of cloud-based development environments and tools.

  • Strong focus on team building and culture in Agile environments.
