Description and Requirements

  • Must have 6-14 years of experience.

  • API Design & Development: Develop and implement API solutions using Axway API Gateway to enable seamless data exchanges between systems.

  • API Security: Design and configure security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT, ensuring that APIs meet high security and compliance standards.

  • Configuration & Deployment: Set up, configure, and deploy Axway API Gateway in diverse environments (e.g., cloud, on-premises, hybrid).

  • System Integration: Integrate APIs with back-end services and third-party systems, ensuring smooth and consistent data flow across platforms.

  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance, improving response times and scalability.

  • Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for API solutions and enforce API governance and best practices.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Implement and configure monitoring tools to ensure continuous availability, and create dashboards and reports to track API usage and system health.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and IT security teams, to deliver high-quality API solutions.

  • Incident Management: Provide support for API issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

  • Shift Timings - 5AM to 2PM.

Additional Job Description

  • Proven experience with Axway API Gateway

  • Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, as well as API security practices.

  • Experience with tools for API monitoring, logging, and analytics.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong skills in Python

  • Proficiency with API security standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT).

  • Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS).

  •  Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
