Position Description:

We are seeking a PMO Lead to oversee the planning, governance, and execution of multiple global projects and programs within our GenAI and Digital Services business. This role will be responsible for establishing and evolving PMO processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring that all project teams deliver value, on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program governance, resource management, and performance reporting, and will excel at leading through influence in a fast-paced, global environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the PMO framework, tools, and methodologies across global programs.

  • Manage the portfolio of projects, providing transparency into timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.

  • Partner with Program Managers, Operations Managers, and Delivery Leads to ensure alignment between program execution and business goals.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project health, execution velocity, and overall portfolio success.

  • Oversee budget tracking, financial forecasting, and resource capacity planning across projects and programs.

  • Act as the primary governance contact for executive leadership, providing strategic reporting and decision-making support.

  • Standardize risk management, change management, and escalation processes.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and operational cadence with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive adoption of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and driving automation or workflow optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or 3+ years of relevant experience

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification preferred but not required.

  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Schedule flexibility to work with global teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in PMO  leadership or senior project/program management roles.

  • Experience managing global or regional portfolios, preferably in the Gen AI ecosystem. 

  • Demonstrated success in governance and adoption leadership, portfolio oversight, and operational reporting.

Language:

  • English – High B2 level or above (required).

  • Spanish is a plus (if in US)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership in governance frameworks, project life cycle management, and PMO best practices.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with strong skills in data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience in resource planning, financial tracking, and risk management.

  • Advanced skills in Google Workspace and PM tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Workday Projects, etc.).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
