The Sr. Manager, Technology Vertical GTM will be responsible for expanding TELUS Digital’s market share in the tech sector by developing and executing a comprehensive GTM program. This role holds a revenue influence target and requires cross-functional collaboration to tailor solutions, define sales plays, drive demand generation and assist in strategic pitches. The ideal candidate is someone who can blend deep domain knowledge in the tech startup/scaleup space with sophisticated business development capabilities. As an expert storyteller, you will engage clients with thought leadership, while also shaping our presence at industry events.
Responsibilities include:
Define and execute an end-to-end Go-To-Market program for the Technology vertical; from target to advocate
Leverage deep understanding of Tech funding (seed to IPO), product-market fit, and scaling pain points (e.g., onboarding bursts, support spikes, retention loops) and assist sales/CRM and solutions teams in high-impact client pitches
Guide and support funnel development through inbound and outbound lead generation in collaboration with Sales, SDRs, Commercial Strategy and Marketing teams
Develop and promote industry thought leadership while also serving as our Tech sector expert at industry conferences and client events
Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales (hunters, farmers), solutions, strategy, enablement, product and marketing teams as a GTM prime and drive execution
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 7–10 years working directly with VC-backed or high-growth tech companies in Ecommerce, SaaS, Social Media, Travel Tech, Auto Tech, Consumer Tech or Gaming
Functional understanding of customer experience technologies and/or operations (customer acquisition, care/support, loyalty and retention, trust and safety, AI data training, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
Experience driving revenue targets and influencing sales outcomes in a Presales, Solutions or Product Marketing role with a proven track record
Experience speaking at tech meetups, user groups or conferences; building networks within startup incubators, accelerators or investor circles
Excellent communication and presentation abilities; particularly in engaging executive stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Pay:
The base compensation range for this position is $116,000 - $145,000 USD annually commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
