This role of Senior Consultant, Business Intelligence, is a client-facing position and falls within Kantata’s Professional Services functions. As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will work alongside experienced professionals sharing the mission of enhancing our clients’ business performance through analytics. You will work with a number of clients on a portfolio of analytic initiatives that you will be expected to drive to completion through data gathering and research, quantitative analysis, implementation, and the creation of client deliverables and reports. You will have an opportunity to gain valuable business and analytics experience while drawing on the knowledge of the team. Dealing with big data is a common ask of our Senior Business Intelligence Consultants, and you will be on the leading edge of innovative technology as we develop and grow the Kantata Platform!

This is a remote position based in India. This candidate will primarily work with other EMEA-based consultants on our customer implementation projects. The ideal candidate must be available to work UK hours (8 am - 5 pm UK time).

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent enterprise customer-facing skills. The Senior Business Intelligence Consultant must be able to adapt quickly to client needs and deliver exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Take lead in delivering Tableau and Salesforce solutions for Kantata SX customers and GoodData solutions for Kantata OX customers.

  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems. Understand our clients’ business requirements and objectives while ensuring alignment with the Kantata solution to drive desired business results.

  • Maintain a strategic understanding of Kantata database systems and related architecture.

  • Develop, maintain, and run client’s Kantata’s Business Intelligences tools in Tableau, Salesforce, and GoodData.

  • Maintain the integrity of Kantata’s Insights reports and develop strategies to support longer-term client needs and best practices.

  • Interpret data, analyze results using analytical techniques, and provide ongoing business intelligence support (Including but not limited to creating client KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reports).

  • Facilitate client-facing design, build, and configuration sessions on custom business intelligence reporting, integrations, and data migration from legacy systems into Kantata.

  • Assist or drive deployment activities such as requirements gathering, functional design, system testing, user acceptance testing, issue troubleshooting and resolution, change management, and training.

What You Bring to this Role

  • Strong background in client-facing roles supporting products such as Tableau, Salesforce, good to have GoodData.

  • Candidates exhibit the following characteristics: top-tier quantitative data analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to present/translate business requirements into technical requirements and vice versa (Business Analysis and Process Transformation).

  • Extensive consulting experience delivering technical services in a client-facing environment.

  • Broad technical knowledge of cloud-based products and technology.

  • Strong business acumen and project management experience.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong drive for excellence.

  • Industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, consulting, or technical support.

  • Availability to work UK hours (8 am - 5 pm UK time) is essential.

  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to client needs and provide excellent enterprise customer service.

  • Must have 5+ years of experience.
