Finance, Payroll Team Leader - TELUS Digital SV
Position overview:
The Payroll Team Leader directs and supervises the work and activities inherent in the preparation and verification of the Payroll System of the company to ensure compliance with the Public Institutions and ensure optimal processes. Coordinates with the Accounting Manager the decision making regarding the movements in the Payroll for effect of the Balance of Payroll and its calculation. Presents analysis and technical reports to the Accounting Manager on the tasks that are carried out in the department for the decision making when they are requested.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate and audit the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related data in the system (bonuses, additional payments and deductions) and be responsible for the overall results, ensure that payroll assistants are trained to execute the entire payroll process and for interpret, enter and verify employee data and payments; direct external relations with public institutions to ensure the image of the company and avoid penalties for non-compliance; verifying the correct execution of the payroll of the personnel of the company; coordinate the distribution of paychecks; analyze and approve termination process payments; analyze and request any changes in the VHUR System when necessary, among others

• Functions: SUMIF Joint, average, Count, conditioning formulas (IF, AND, OR)

Evolutions or Similar Payroll Programs - Required
Comprehension/technical knowledge of all areas of payroll, including taxes of law.
Workday or Similar Accounting Programs - Required
Solid Accounting knowledge - Required
Qualifications:
Business Administration or Bachelor of Accounting - Mandatory
Minimum of 3 years in payroll experience - Required
2 years experience in coordinating the preparation of payroll, accounting records and supervision of personnel - Required
English B2 - Required
• Oral and written comprehension.
• Appropriate use of language.
